BG products are sold exclusively through professional service facilities — they are not available at retail parts stores or for consumer purchase.

Does the BG Protection Plan cover my Honda, Toyota, or BMW?
Yes. The Lifetime BG Protection Plan applies to any make or model serviced at Advantage Auto Service. The manufacturer endorsements from Ford and GM speak to the quality of the products — the coverage itself is available for every vehicle we service, regardless of brand.
Is there an additional charge for the BG Protection Plan?
No. Coverage is complimentary with qualifying BG services performed at our shop. You pay for the service — the protection plan enrollment comes with it at no additional cost. There is no registration fee and no annual renewal fee.
What happens if I miss a service interval?
BG allows a 500-mile grace period beyond the recommended interval before coverage is affected. If you've exceeded an interval by more than 500 miles, ask your service advisor — in some cases a catch-up service can restore coverage. The most reliable approach is staying on the recommended schedule, which aligns closely with your regular oil change visits.
What does "transferable" mean for the Protection Plan?
If you sell your vehicle, the remaining Lifetime BG Protection Plan coverage transfers to the new owner. This is a documented, verifiable service history that adds genuine resale value — a buyer knows the vehicle has been maintained to manufacturer-endorsed standards with active component coverage in place.
Can I buy BG Products at AutoZone or O'Reilly?
No. Professional-grade BG Products are sold exclusively through authorized service facilities. Products labeled "BG" at retail stores are a different product line and do not carry the same formulations or qualify for Protection Plan coverage. The products we use require professional application equipment to deliver their full benefit.
I drive a Ford — is the BG service the same as what the dealer does?
Yes. Ford dealerships perform Motorcraft® fuel system maintenance using BG Products formulations and equipment. The product your Ford dealer uses under the Motorcraft name is the same BG formula we apply under the BG professional label. You receive identical maintenance without dealership pricing.
